About Us

GRID Skola is a place to understand power systems properly. Not at the level of a definition you can repeat in an interview, but at the level where you could defend the answer in a design review.

Most learning material stops where the textbook stops. It explains what a device does and leaves out why the industry chose it, what it costs, where it fails, and what an engineer actually has to decide. That gap is the work this site does. Everything here is grounded in industry practice, and the reasoning is kept visible instead of being compressed into a conclusion.

Technical Articles are long explainers that take one subject at a time, covering HVDC, FACTS, protection, storage, grid inertia and renewable integration, while GRID Blogs are shorter pieces on where the industry is heading and what that means for the people working in it. Whether you are a student, a practicing engineer or someone with decades in the field, there is material here pitched at your level.

Courses and downloadable resources are in preparation. Until then, everything on this site is free to read.
